The Production

In the presence of a friend, in a decaying and lonely mansion, an artist on the edge of madness sees his beloved sister dying. But her death is only the beginning…. An extraordinary tale that is as dark as it is sublime. A gothic story embodied in an extreme piece of drama. A ritual that vibrates with physical, visual and musical intensity.

In the wake of Roberto Zucco (Koltes, 2003) and Richard III (Shakespeare, 2004), which were staged in the United Kingdom, toured in France, and acclaimed by both audiences and critics, The Fall of the House of Usher is the new production of the French-British company Coincidence Theatre. After Paris, The Fall of the House of Usher will be performed in London and New York.
