Roderick Usher: Shane Bordas (Canada)
Born in Canada to English and Croatian parents, Shane spent his formative years writing and performing music. He studied acting at The Bridge Theatre Training Company in London and has, most recently, been in a number of short independant films, as well as appearing as 4th Tempter/4th Knight in T.S. Eliot's "Murder In The Cathedral" at St. John's Church, Waterloo, London, last December.

The Friend: Mark Lawrence (England)
Mark studied at Lee Strasberg's school (Actor's Studio) in New York and since returning to Europe has worked on mainly new writing. He appeared as the mentally disabled son, Noah in Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath which was noninated as best Adaptation in the London Theatre Awards. On TV Mark was part of the ensemble cast of Steven Spielbergs production Band of Brothers which recieved a golden globe and an Emmy for best series.

Madeline: Diana Rosalind Trimble (United Kingdom & United States)
Since her degree in Experimental and Interdisciplinary Arts, Diana has performed internationally as an actress, singer and movement artist. She was a soloist with George Coates multi-media ensemble and has portrayed Ariel in a radical deconstruction of The Tempest, Krishna in an all-female Bhagavad-Gita and St. Teresa of Avila in a dark musical based on Saint John of the Cross' poetry. As a singer she has worked with numerous world-class artists including Bobby McFerrin and Rudiger Oppermann.
